Your financial and journal content is encrypted on your device. Unlock your prepared app offline, log daily changes, and keep going. Your queued changes sync when you reconnect and open Custos.
Some delivery and account metadata is visible to the server. Email and push reminders need a connection; wallet administration and recurring-series edits also require the server. The app's Transparency view explains the details.

How do I get started?
Open Custos and create an identity or restore your recovery phrase. Save the phrase safely, protect this device with a passphrase, and set up your wallet. No email address is required for sign-in.
What works offline?
After the app and records finish downloading, daily expense entries, tasks, events, budget edits, and supported savings and vehicle workflows work offline. Check the Ready offline status before disconnecting. Uncached history and server-dependent actions require a connection.
Is it free?
All features are free on the official host. Optional tips never gate a feature. The source is public for transparency under the Custos Proprietary License; self-hosting or rebranding requires a written commercial agreement.
Can you recover my key?
No. Your recovery phrase is the way to restore your identity on another device. Custos cannot reset it. Keep your phrase and encrypted backups somewhere safe.
